As part of Personal Protective Equipment, PPE, ballistic vests have received numerous improvements in terms of comfort and ergonomics for the end-user. This can be seen in the vest covers that comprise the ballistic panels. They are already being made with lighter fabrics, with mixtures of high-resistance yarns such as polyamide 6.6 + polyethylene (UHMWPE) + elastane, providing a greater range of movements of the vest cover when it is with a flexible ballistic solution, typical of Concealed vests Level II-A and III-A Certified in American standard NIJ 06.
